Small Business Growth Strategy

Have your say on the Small Business Growth Strategy 2037.

The Tasmanian Government is working to make Tasmania the best place in Australia to live, work, raise a family, invest and do business.

Supporting small business is a key part of this plan.

To help local businesses grow and succeed over the next decade, we are developing the Small Business Growth Strategy 2037. This new strategy will set clear priorities and actions for government and the private sector for the next 10 years.

Why we’re consulting

The Department of State Growth is reviewing the current Small Business Growth Strategy to:

  • check that the existing themes and goals are still right
  • identify new challenges facing small businesses
  • capture new opportunities for growth
  • make sure government support meets today’s business needs.

Small businesses operate in a changing environment. Your feedback will help shape a practical and relevant strategy for the future.

Your input will help ensure the next strategy supports a strong, resilient and growing small business sector across Tasmania.

We encourage you to take part and help shape the future of small business in Tasmania.
