2026 Tasmanian Employer of Choice
The 2026 Employer of Choice Recognition Program celebrates Tasmanian organisations that create great places to work.
An Employer of Choice is a workplace with a strong reputation. It attracts and keeps good people because it invests in positive culture, strong leadership and staff wellbeing.
The program is supported by Jobs Tasmania and the Department of State Growth.

Who can apply
You can apply if your organisation:
- has a physical workplace in Tasmania
- directly employs Tasmanian staff
- is responsible for its own workplace practices and culture.
Eligible organisations include:
- businesses and enterprises
- community organisations
- local government organisations
- some state government organisations (if they are not a part of “The Crown” and are not bound by the State Services Act).

Applications close 11:59pm Tuesday 31 March 2026. Late or paper applications will not be accepted.
After you submit your application, you will receive an automatic email confirming it has been received.
