Regional Tourism Development Loan Scheme
The Regional Tourism Development Loan Scheme aims to support tourism product and experience development in regional Tasmania – specifically outside the Hobart CBD –encouraging dispersal, year-round visitation, authenticity, sustainability and accessibility, in line with the 2030 Visitor Economy Strategy.
The interest rate is highly concessional for the first three years, with a commercial rate to apply for the remainder of the loan term of up to two years.
Funding
Loans of between $100,000 and $3 million.
Key dates
The scheme is open until 2:00 pm Tuesday, 30 June 2026 or until all funding has been fully allocated, whichever occurs first.
