The No Interest Micro-Business Loan program can provide financial assistance for those on low incomes who want to start a business or need help to grow their business.

The No Interest Micro-Business Loan program provides small, interest-free loans of up to $3,000 to people on low incomes. The program is delivered in Tasmania by the No Interest Loans Scheme (NILS).

The program can:

  • provide an interest-free loan to successful applicants
  • help you to turn a business idea into a practical proposal
  • provide information on basic compliance and other requirements for establishing a business
  • help you grow your business.

Who can apply?

Anyone who has a Health Care Card and has completed a business plan.

Daniela Penrith from Three Points Health Services explains how the No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS) works.
