The decommissioning of Biztas

Biztas was a database of Tasmanian businesses, managed and promoted by the Tasmanian Government.

Over the last 10 years, Biztas has provided Tasmanian businesses with a free directory. The website is now out of date and has been made redundant by private sector directories, social media channels and websites.

Given these contributing factors, Biztas was decommissioned on June 30 2014.

We realise that this may mean that some businesses will no longer have an online presence. If you would like to find an alternative there are free advertising options on the Internet, which a quick search will uncover. Here are some free resources to start you off:
